We may process your personal data for a longer period in the event of an ongoing legal dispute, or if you have given us your consent.

Our employees will also have access to your personal data. In such a case, access shall be granted only if it is necessary for those purposes and only if the worker is bound by a duty of confidentiality.

Your personal data will be accessed by authorized employees of CANOR, spol. s r.o., in the Slovak Republic within the European Union and the European Economic Area. If the processing takes place outside the EU, these are the following cases:

STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA - CONTROLLER
We only store your personal data for a limited time, and they will be deleted when they are no longer needed for the processing purposes set out in this statement.

In the case of granted consent, for the period of its granting, but no more than until its withdrawal, or for the duration of the legitimate interest of the operator

For a period of 10 years from the final conclusion of the given court proceedings or out-of-court proceedings, or until the dispute is concluded, the request/complaint is dealt with, and all obligations are settled

Archival care - record-keeping, archiving, decommissioning, disposal

In accordance with the applicable legislation and deadlines specified in the registry rules for the given agenda.

Management of supplier relationships - pre-contractual and contractual agenda - communication, concluding a contract, implementation of a contractual relationship

For a period of 10 years after the termination of the contract, accounting documents enter the processing activity "Accounting and tax agenda"

 

We may process your personal data for a longer period in the event of an ongoing legal dispute, or if you have given us your consent.

 

WHAT RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE
According to the Data Protection Act you have certain rights in relation to their processing. Here is a list of these rights, as well as what the given right means for you.
 

Right of access
You can request information about how we process your personal data, including information about:

  • Why we process your personal data
  • What categories of personal data we process With whom we share your personal data
  • How long we keep your personal data/what are the criteria for determining this period What rights do you have
  • Where we get your personal data from (if we did not get it from you)
  • If the processing involves automated decision-making (so-called profiling)
  • If your personal data has been transferred to a country that is outside the EEA, how we will ensure that your personal data is protected

All of the above information is available in this Privacy Policy. You can also request a copy of the personal data we process about you. However, additional copies will be charged.

 

Right to rectification
It is important that we have the correct information about you and ask that you notify us if any of your personal data is incorrect, e.g. if you have changed your name or if you have moved.

 

Right to erasure
If we process your personal data in an unlawful manner, for example, if we process your personal data for longer than necessary or for no reason, you can ask us to delete that data.

 

Right to restriction
From the moment you have requested the rectification of your personal data or if you have objected to the processing, and until we are able to investigate the issue or confirm the accuracy of your personal data (or change it according to your instructions), you are entitled to restricted processing. This means that we (with the exception of the storage of personal data) can only process your personal data in accordance with your consent, if it is necessary in connection with legal claims, to protect the rights of someone else, or where there is a substantial public interest in the processing. You can also request that we restrict the processing of your personal data if the processing is unlawful, but you do not want us to erase the personal data.

 

Right to object
If you believe that we do not have the right to process your personal data, you can object to our processing. In such cases, we may only continue processing if we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that outweigh your interests, rights, and freedoms. However, we may always process your personal data if it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

 

Right of data transfer
You may request that your personal data that you have provided to us for processing on the basis of consent or for the performance of a contract be provided to you in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. You also have the right to request the transfer of this information to another data controller.

 

Withdraw of consent
If you have given us your consent for any processing activity, this consent is voluntary, and you have the right to withdraw it at any time in any way.

 

We will also inform other parties to whom we may have provided your personal data about your request(s).

In case of doubt, you have the right to submit a proposal to initiate proceedings pursuant to § 100 of the Data Protection Act to the relevant supervisory authority, for example via www.dataprotection.gov.sk.

 

HOW CAN I COMPLAIN ABOUT THE USE OF MY DATA OR HOW DO I EXERCISE MY RIGHTS?
